Introducing Nigerian pop artist, korie Weaving English and Yoruba lyrics into her original compositions, Korie’s tracks confidently speak to the universal virtues of love, courage, self-empowerment, determination, and strength.

Korie started singing at the age of 5, and writing songs at the age of 6. Korie's musical journey began when she decided to learn the guitar, Korie could not afford the cost of a guitar, but out of determination Korie drew a guitar on a cardboard paper and started learning the notes, scales, chords while watching YouTube videos for 14months. Korie has a mission to empower people of all identities, age, gender, economic backgrounds with her music.

In 2020, korie signed a Publishing / Distribution / Marketing / Advertising deal with MPATH MUSIC & APM MUSIC 

In 2021, korie released her debut Ep - This is Korie vol 1. which means “ This is Music ” Weaving English and Yoruba lyrics into her original compositions, Korie’s tracks confidently speak to the universal virtues of love, courage, self-empowerment, determination, and strength. which features tracks( Drop Every Fear ) ( Foe ) ( My Love Will Find You ) ( Change With Me ) .

Interview with NTA ( Nigeria Television Authority )

Korie had an amazing interview with the Nigeria Television Authority crew at tejuosho office of NTA in Lagos Nigeria.

The interview cut across all aspects of her music career and a bit of her personal life, when a question like this " The competition in the Nigeria music industry is high, how do you think you can fit in " was asked, her response blow the air and took the interview to another level, " This sky is big enough for all and I didn't call music, music called me ".

Korie was featured in the Easter edition of Daily Digest with Jimi Disu on Nigeria Info on Good Friday 2nd of April 2021. 

The interview was fully packed and interesting, she talked about her personal life, music, career, family and how she's working on her new project " This is Korie " part 2. Which will be released soon under her newly signed deal with APM MUSIC and MPATH TRACKS .

Korie Signed a Distribution / Marketing / Promotion / Publishing Deal with APM MUSIC and MPATH TRACKS

Korie got signed on a 5 years publishing deal with MPATH TRACKS and also a 5 years distribution and advertising deal with APM MUSIC, also a 5 years marketing and promotional deal with EMI . This is a big step on her music journey.

The deal was signed on the 25th of October 2020.
