Korie started singing at the age of 5, and writing songs at the age of 6. Korie's musical journey began when she decided to learn the guitar, Korie could not afford the cost of a guitar, but out of determination Korie drew a guitar on a cardboard paper and started learning the notes, scales, chords while watching YouTube videos for 14months. Korie has a mission to empower people of all identities, age, gender, economic backgrounds with her music.
In 2020, korie signed a Publishing / Distribution / Marketing / Advertising deal with MPATH MUSIC & APM MUSIC
In 2021, korie released her debut Ep - This is Korie vol 1. which means “ This is Music ” Weaving English and Yoruba lyrics into her original compositions, Korie’s tracks confidently speak to the universal virtues of love, courage, self-empowerment, determination, and strength. which features tracks( Drop Every Fear ) ( Foe ) ( My Love Will Find You ) ( Change With Me ) .
